Alexandra has always been home for me. A fourth generation local with family throughout the region, this is where construction first inspired me, where I sharpened my craft and finally set up shop. A southern bloke with a love of good folk and the great outdoors, Alex was the perfect place to build a family and begin a quality construction company.
Since those fresh faced days, our local population has bloomed with city slickers looking for a better lifestyle, holiday makers laying down roots, historic homes being upgraded and new suburbs popping up left, right and centre. As I watched our town evolve, I knew I wanted to ensure the quality of this growth and lower the impact on our surrounding environment. To inspire and enable my community new and old to craft thoughtfully designed homes made from quality materials by experienced hands.

A significant element of guaranteeing the quality of our town’s future is leading the change in our local building industry towards a more sustainable model. This will require a big shift that begins with small steps such as implementing a waste minimisation procedure for our town.
In the meantime, we’re upskilling to offer clients energy efficient design tips that work with our natural resources such as the sun and wind. Early engagement at the design phase allows us to pass these on, as well as recommend the best materials and offer cost savings from the start.

Site excavation and foundations
Our commitment to forging great relationships extends to our subcontractors. Working with the best in the Otago region, we will transform your empty section into your building canvas through site excavation and earthworks, then lay the foundations, add septic requirements, drainage and the finishing touches with landscaping and driveways.
Drafting up your dream home & fine tuning plans
Next step is getting your ideas on paper or fine tuning your existing plans. Engaging us at the design stage allows us to offer expert advice on energy efficiency, materials, cost savings and council process to avoid those bumps in the road down the track.

Think of your building envelope as the shell of your project, consisting of external walls, doors, windows, roof and the lowest floor.
